American Bulldog named Daisy Mae gave birth to 21 puppies in Illinois. Seventeen of them were born healthy and four died during delivery. When you consider that the size of an average litter is 5 to 6 puppies, then 17 puppies is certainly an unusually large number.

It took more than 20 hours for Daisy Mae to deliver all of the puppies. The father of the puppies is a Bulldog named Groucho who belongs to a friend of the Daisy Mae's family. Daisy's owner, Shari Ballard, said that she will not breed her anymore and that she will retire from breeding after this strenuous delivery. Shari admits that her family's intention was to breed Daisy and sell the puppies. After seeing how many puppies they got, she plans to give some, if not all, of the puppies away for free to anyone willing to take good care of them. After all, when you have 17 puppies, it is hard keeping them all to yourself. 

The puppies are now 6 weeks old and soon will be ready to be placed in good homes.

On a side note, the largest number of puppies ever recorded in a litter was from a Neopolitan Bull Mastiff called Tia, in Manea in Cambridgeshire. Tia gave birth to 24 puppies in 2005 and currently holds the record for most puppies born in a litter and the largest number of surviving puppies! Four of the puppies died after delivery from being too weak but the other twenty were healthy and in great shape.

This is one very smart dog. Wait a second! All dogs are smart. They just don't want to show off in front of us to not appear that they know everything we tell them to do but still keep disobeying us.

Zeke the dog dribbles a basketball and catches an alley-oop dunk! Zeke seems to be having a lot of fun and the way he is playing, he is headed for the pros. He can dribble and he can dunk! He just needs to grow 4 more feet and he can even try out for an NBA team.

Jerry is a Dachshund whose owner created a ball machine that launches a tennis ball for Jerry to fetch it. Keep in mind that this machine also features IR proximity sensors that will stop the machine to protect anyone who is too close to it. Jerry already knows how to load the ball so he does not have to wait for anyone else to do it. Jerry seems to have found a new friend, the ball machine! GO Jerry GO!

This is what happens when you overeat and your tummy is too full to get up. This cute and funny French Bulldog puppy cannot get up and his mother does not even bother trying to help him. She just sleeps unbothered while her pup is struggling. I guess she is "practicing survival of the fittest".

A funny video of a Husky and a kitten playing and exchanging punches. The kitten seems to be pretty confident that he will win the fight over the much bigger but gentle Husky. The kitten must have some kind of a Napoleon complex or love those big Husky paws too much.
