Description
I have always had a passion for sled dogs since reading the "Silver Chief" books as a kid. Many years later in 1986 and with a first house came the first Malamute. I soon added another Malamute and began recreational sledding and have since added conformation showing as well as ski-joring and general hauling work around the yard. Since 2000 I live in the country where my Mals have room to run and I don't have to listen to traffic!
The kennel name, ARDISTAN, was registered in 2000 and I began breeding Malamutes
In my breeding program I strive for three things; Temperament, Soundness and Movement. I try to help create strong, well balanced (mentally and physically) and happy Alaskan Malamutes. Here at ARDISTAN I follow the Standard of Origin as closely as possible and I give the Mals ample time to prove themselves.

My foundation Malamute, BISS Can/Am Ch Waterstone Meandering Fraser (AMCC BOB 1997 and BOS 2000) sired 4 Can Champions, all owned and shown by myself, in his one and only litter. His grandson Can Ch Ardistan's Great Khan, "Temujin" is the latest to carry on the name with youngsters Jochi and Khatun making strides towards their Championships.
