This is a low rate puppy farm breeder. I knew Irena was a sorry breeder when I requested to pick up my puppy at 10 weeks old because we had not settled in our new home yet and she refused to work with me, any breeder who cares about their dogs knows that moving will stress out a baby pom. When we got the dog it had no health cert, and after telling me on the phone how great of health the dog was in, we found out it had never seen a vet. She gave it its first set of shots in front of us he was 8 weeks, and a signed piece of paper stating he had been de-wormed by her. Thats it! No AKC reg papers NOTHING! Upon getting puppy home I notice ticks on him, by the third one I call Irena, she tells me "get used to it, poms get ticks" and tells me he has had frontline (note frontline for a dog this young is not advised as it can kill puppy!) , We pulled 16 tickes off this dog in a 48hr period. Now took puppy to vet and he has anemia from the ticks, and 2 types of worms. This will take frequent vet visits to cure and he could have died. She boast 19 female breeding dogs, and 4 males, this high amount is so she can turn out puppy's as quick as a mill. Having litters as short as 4 days apart. We asked for a refund and she tried to tell us that we should have had puppy de-wormed, according to her "records" she gave us he is not due for another week. She was rude and refused to own up to her neglect, we will be calling animal control, the bbb, the ASPCA, as well as the state gov, FL state laws protect you from such "breeders". It is under the FL state lemon pet law that buyers must receive a dog that has a health cert from a vet, has had check ups with a vet and received shots from said vet, if the breeder fails to do so the buyer is entitled to a refund, no matter what the breeder contract states. DO not buy from Irena, do not fund more money into this puppy farm where hundreds of dogs are neglected and live in filthy conditions..
